Permitted Use

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. Gilded Whisker grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the Site and its content for your own informational use.

Linking to the Site is welcome. So is modest personal, non-commercial sharing of its content, unaltered and as found.

No other right or licence is granted, expressly or by implication.

Sign-in

Some rooms of the Site open only with credentials the Atelier issues. What those credentials unlock is the work itself — a Patron may share them with family and friends they wish to bring along, and remains answerable for that sharing. Personal information stays behind its own door, as the Privacy Policy describes. Gilded Whisker may suspend or withdraw credentials that are misused. The commission itself is governed by the Commission Terms.

Submissions

Anything sent through the Site — inquiries, stories, images, ideas — is sent voluntarily. Outside an accepted commission, it is treated as non-confidential, it creates no engagement, and no obligation arises from receiving it. By sending material, you confirm you have the right to share it.

Works the Atelier creates may resemble ideas submitted to it; a submission grants no interest in any work.

Messaging

If you give a telephone number and ask to be reached by text, the Atelier may send SMS or RCS messages about your inquiry or commission — confirmations, updates, scheduling, and replies to your own. How often varies with the work. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You remain in control. Reply STOP to any message to end them, or HELP for assistance. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and everything on it belong to Gilded Whisker or are used with permission: text and narratives; portraits, studies, images, and visual compositions; logos, marks, and design elements; documents and downloads; and the selection and arrangement of it all.

These materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing on the Site transfers ownership of any of them to you.

Restrictions

Without prior written permission from Gilded Whisker, you may not:

• reproduce, republish, distribute, or publicly display the Site’s content beyond the personal use and sharing permitted above;
• adapt, modify, or create derivative works from the Site or its content;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, mine, or extract content, data, or metadata from the Site by automated means;
• use any content from the Site to train, fine-tune, test, benchmark, or otherwise support any machine-learning, artificial-intelligence, or generative system, or to build any dataset;
• remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, attribution, watermark, or proprietary notice;
• interfere with the Site’s operation, security, or availability;
• use the Site or its content for any unlawful, misleading, or commercially exploitative purpose.

Information Only

The Site describes Gilded Whisker and its work, for general information, reference, and illustration. Nothing on it is professional advice, and nothing on it is a binding offer. A commission arises only through direct agreement — costs you incur or expectations you form before that agreement are your own.

No Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent the law permits, Gilded Whisker makes no representation, warranty, or condition of any kind, express or implied, about the Site or its content — including accuracy, completeness, availability, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, Gilded Whisker is not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive — arising out of or related to your access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site, whatever the legal theory, even if advised of the possibility.

If liability is found despite the foregoing, Gilded Whisker’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to the greater of one Canadian dollar (CAD $1.00) and the amount, if any, you paid Gilded Whisker to access the Site.

Third Parties

The Site may link to third-party websites, platforms, or services, for convenience only. Gilded Whisker does not control them and is not responsible for their content, policies, security, or availability. You use them at your own risk.

Termination

Gilded Whisker may restrict, suspend, or end access to the Site, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, its content, its rights, or its users, or where misuse is suspected.

Changes

Gilded Whisker may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time and without notice. These terms may also be revised; the version posted on the Site is the version that applies at the time of use. Continued use after changes are posted is acceptance of them.

Governing Law

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site, are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. You attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, sitting in Edmonton.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
